Steven C. Karr, DPM
Dr. Steven C Karr is a Podiatry Specialist in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He graduated with honors from Ohio College Of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. Dr. Karr is one of the top 2 podiatry surgeons to complete 100 lapiplasty procedures. Having more than 30 years of diverse experiences, especially in podiatry, Dr. Karr affiliates with many hospitals including Genesys Regional Medical Center – Health Park, Mclaren Flint, and cooperates with other doctors and specialists.
Sarah Hewitt, DPM
Dr. Sarah Hewitt is originally from Clarkston, Michigan. She went to Clarkston High School followed by Albion College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. While at Albion, she was president of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and was involved in many groups, including one that orchestrated health fairs for the local elementary schools.
Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Sarah attended Podiatry School at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. While in Arizona, she volunteered providing podiatric care to the homeless, provided foot screenings for the Special Olympics, and volunteered as a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization.
Sarah completed her education with a podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Ascension Genesys here in Grand Blanc, MI. Here she gained hands on surgical experience in over 1,200 surgical procedures. She served as chief resident during her third year.
Since completing her residency, she worked in a private practice in Southeast Michigan. She joined Grand Blanc Family Footcare in April 2022.
Outside of helping her patients, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog, Lady. She enjoys watching Michigan football, skiing and swimming with her son.
